A small family run business, which started with one car and now has 7 cars ranging from a 1928 Nash Open Top Tourer to a Jaguar XJ6, all of the vehicles are owned by us (we do not contract out or hire in cars), we currently have 2 other cars which are being restored and will appear on this site towards the end of the year.

We aim to provide you with a personal service, and hope that we can adapt to your requirements, please let us know at the time of booking if there is a special place or local beauty spot where you would like to have photos taken, and help make the day run smooth.

The cars are all washed,polished and valeted on the day, decoratd with a choice of White or Ivory Ribbons and bows, and with a Silk Floral display (in White & Ivory) on the back sill of the cars (with the exception of the Nash / Cadet & Grosvenor).

We only book one Wedding per day with each car, and our Chauffeurs all have traditional navy blue uniforms with matching hats & ties, alternatively you could have your driver in a vintage uniform or dressed as gangsters to match the more 'older style' cars.  Please see our gallery for pictures. The chauffuer would have made himself familiar with your route and also any road works to avoid delays.

It is now more popular for your ceremony and venue all to be in once place, and Elegant Car Hire will give you the choice of having us wait until after the ceremony to take the Bride & Groom on their first journey as Husband & Wife, we suggest you pick up a glass of Champage, and enjoy a short drive around the local area, arriving back at your venue, enabling your photographer/video Company to record you 'arriving' at your venue.
